Adrienne Foote Takes the Crown as Streetwise Franchisee of the Year 2025

Streetwise Coffee is delighted to announce that Adrienne Foote, proud owner of the Sanson cart, has been awarded Franchisee of the Year for 2025 at this year’s annual franchisee conference.
Adrienne’s story is one of heart, hustle, and connection to the Streetwise Coffee brand. Her journey began not behind the coffee machine, but behind the books - handling payroll for Rod and Sharon Te Whatu, former owners of the Palmerston North carts. One day, Rod asked if her daughters might want a job at the Sanson cart… It was Adrienne who took up the opportunity - and when the cart came up for sale four years ago, she didn’t hesitate. She made it her own.
And what a journey it’s been.
In presenting the award, the Streetwise Coffee team praised Adrienne for consistently demonstrating excellence across all areas of her business. The Sanson cart received glowing feedback, including 100% in Mystery Shop scores, praise for an inviting and well-presented environment, and special mentions of the friendly and genuine customer service that’s become her trademark.
“The cart was spotless, beautifully set up with tables, chairs, and lush potted plants,” said the mystery shopper. “The team member showed real warmth and care. The coffee was creamy and delicious - I’d absolutely recommend this cart to friends and family.”
Adrienne has also maintained strong operational standards, with top marks during Field Support Visits and active contributions to the broader franchise system, including as a valued member of the Franchise Advisory Committee.
On receiving the award, Adrienne said:
